Top 15 health and nutrition tips for children

Nutrition is the main part of a good health. For a health child, parents must be concerned about their child's nutrition and healthy eating. Now a days, many children are suffered under nutrition. For them some nutrition tips are given here which can help their parents to be concerned about their child's nutrition.


1. Drinking water at early morning and before eating meal


Don't leave your children for a long sleep in the morning. Rise them at early morning which is also a good habit for health and give them some pure water (free from germs) to drink in vacant belly which very important for body organs. Not only at the morning but also a little amount before eating.


2. Healthy breakfast


Don't give a rich breakfast to your children . Give only a healthy breakfast with a banana, one piece of a bread along with little butter and a piece of a cake which contains a good amount of calories.


3. Give fruit juice


Fruit juice is very important for children and all of them also like it. It contains a huge amount of vitamins from different fruits is required for a good nutrition.


4. Avoid sugar more


Naturally children are very much interested to sugar and juice containing sugar. But as a parent you should not full fill your children's interest, you should not give them sugar more because it may cause bad for health.


5. Eating for more times in a day


Children have a very little knowledge about nutrition and healthiness. So, they do not intend to eat for more times. But, you have to give variety of food to your children against their intension as vacant belly may be the cause of acidity which can bring other diseases in future for your children.


6. Give a healthy lunch


Give a healthy lunch to your children with more and more vegetables other than any food containing high amount of protein. Mainly, green vegetables are very important for a good nutrition, so give them green vegetables more.


7. Grow own vegetables in the garden


Vegetables which are got in the market are not pure because for a good sell, shopkeepers use various chemical colours on the vegetables through spray so that they are shown fresh. But, these are injurious to health of children. So, you should grow vegetables yourself involving your children so that they became also interested in the garden and as a result you will be able to give a fresh vegetables to your children.


8. Give home food in the tiffin box for school


At the tiffin time of school many food stalls are found in front of school. Though they are testy and aerated to children, yet always home food is the best tiffin. So, must give home food in your children's tiffin box.


9. Drinking milk one glass twice a day


Milk is the most nutrient drink for children. Drinking milk at least two times in a day is required. But, drinking milk at preferably two mentioned times are more important,

● At the afternoon in the play time.

●Before sleep at night.


10. Practice of exercise


Not only nutrient foods are important for health, but also habit of exercise is essential for children which give them a healthy future.


11. Give a little fast food at the evening


After playing at the afternoon, children remaining hungry and at the evening time, you should provide a little amount of fast food to bring a change in the food list. Foods which can be given to children are-

(i) One piece of sandwich along with some salad.

(ii) Give a piece a of bread with frying egg a little amount of butter.


12. Eat food with your children


As a parent you should eat food with your children because during eat together, you will be able to give them teach about health and nutrition which is very important for them.


13. Leave them for making meal


Children are very much interested in making meal in the kitchen than eating. So, leave them for making food in the kitchen according to them which can bring a knowledge about healthiness to them.


14. Give a mild food before sleep


A heavy food in the dinner is very harmful for health. So, give a very mild food before sleep.


15. Teach them any time about health


After all, children have to gain knowledge about health. Teach them anytime in a day about various foods which are required and which are not required for their health.
